About

Location: Kingston, Ontario

Quintilian School offers programming that centered on individuals with learning and social differences including but not limited to ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and OCD. We worked with them to do a full rebrand of their existing logo and overall brand image to something more fresh.

The Requirements

When working on this project, Quintilian School wanted a specific set of criteria to be met and integrated into this logo:

Honour

Tradition

Quintilian School opened its doors in 2001 and has always had a bird in its logo. Sticking with this theme, it was important to honour the symbol of the bird in the new logo to emphasize tradition and heritage.

Instill

Curiosity

Some logos evoke a sense of curiosity and exploration, particularly for brands associated with education. This was imperative to embrace for Quintilian School as they provide very small group and one-to-one instruction, creating a secure, positive, and nurturing environment.

Foster

Inclusion

Due to the clientele of Quintilian school, having a logo that represented inclusivity was vital. At school children should be accepted, appreciated, nurtured, and challenged according to their individual needs.

Our Solution

In collaboration with Quintilian School, we embarked on a logo development initiative, working closely with their founder to shape a distinctive visual identity. Our joint effort aimed to create a logo that captures the spirit of their school. The resulting brand elements embody a thoughtful representation, aligning with the school's mission to foster a learning environment that cherishes tradition, encourages curiosity, and promotes inclusivity. This logo not only reflects creativity but also serves as a meaningful symbol, illustrating Quintilian School's commitment to empowering students with the skills and knowledge needed for success.
